Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 403].

I was getting the following error when connecting to the WordPress native plugin Jetpack to WordPress.com on cPanel server –

Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 403]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.com/support/

This might be due to Mod_security update, you will need to check Apache Error log (/usr/local/apache/logs/error_log) on the server for more details.

If you don’t have root access of the server then contact your web hosting service provider.
